Technical notes and description: Cotton warp and wool weft Jacquard double-weave cloth. A variant of the Lover's Chain or Lover's Knot pattern composes the field of this two-panel, handloomed quilt. The borders surrounding three sides are composed of a geometric block and double-link motif. A dark side featuring olive green and brick red wool yarns is contrasted against a reverse in which cream cotton predominates.
