Funcionando tanto como relieve y ensamblaje, Columbarium I ejemplifica un enfoque aquitectónico
excepcional dentro del vocabulario pictográfico del Universalismo Constructivo.
Al dibujar durante viajes a zonas arquelógicas en Perú, Bolivia, Grecia y
Turquía, Fonseca libera primero los símbolos del plano bidimensional, para
después insertarlos en la cuadrícula, generando así una escultura mítico arquitectónica.
Siendo objetos autosustentables, tales pictogramas pueden ser reagrupados, desplegados
o secondidos para resaltar sus dimensiones simbólicas.
