Construcción temprana en madera donde Torres-García corta y
ensambla piezas iregulares que preceden el “marco recortado” en Sudamérica.
Aunque la estuctura tenga referentes arquitectónicos, el artista se vale de
colores primarios, en reconocimiento a Piet Mondrian. Ajeno a su precisión,
Torres-García deja visibles los clavos y la madera rústica sin barniz. Lo no
convencional de su enfoque resalta en la estructura una materialidad táctil que
contrapone la hechura a mano a la producción industrial de moda.
