Technical notes and description: Tabby-weave wool face and back; wool filling; wool thread. The three-panel face, with cutouts at the foot for bedposts, is of dark indigo, probably imported, worsted fabric. It is patterned with dark blue quilting running stitches in a flowering Tree of Life form, which branches from center bottom to top sides. The border is composed of an undulating leaf garland with alternating stylized floral forms. Seven-pointed stars are spaced within the diagonal lines of the ground. Quilting stitches secure tan wool backing, wool filling, and face fabric. The face fabric retains permanent creases in the direction of warp threads from the glazing pressing pressure. The glaze is worn off.
