Description

James Haden was the son-in-law of Rusk County, Texas, potter Joseph Rushton. Haden worked for Rushton and for other potters in the vicinity.

This churn’s profile tapers gently toward it base and rim; it bears an impressed maker’s mark. Its six-gallon capacity is indicated by the numeral three impressed twice.
