Description

James Haden was the son-in-law of Rusk County, Texas, potter Joseph Rushton. Haden worked for Rushton and for other potters in the vicinity.

Here the familiar jug form has a distinctive handle configuration, joining the lip to the shoulder with a right-angle bend.
