Engraved on each side of the main body of the cooler is the coat of arms of the Order of the Garter. Engraved above the coat of arms is the motto: "Honi Soit Qui Mal y Pense" and below: "Per il Suo Contrario"

Engraved on both sides of the rim of the cooler is the coat of arms of the Order of the Garter.

Engraved on one side of the removable liner is the coat of arms of the Order of the Garter with a crown above.
Marked on the rim: "1"
Stamped on all three parts: "567"

Stamped on cooler, under rim: "P.S" in double oval / Lion passant, facing left, looking at viewer / Leopard wearing crown in shield / "R" in square with nipped corners above and cleft below / Monarch with peruke, looking right, in oval .

Stamped on the detachable rim: "P.S" in double oval / Lion passant, facing left, looking at viewer / "R" in square with nipped corners above and cleft below.

Stamped on removable liner: "P.S" in double oval / Lion passant, facing left, looking at viewer / Leopard in shield, wearing crown / "R" in square with nipped corners above and cleft below / Monarch in oval with peruke, looking right.
