Stamped on the flat interior side of .A, hole has been punched removing part of maker's mark: "P . S" (in a conjoined circle surround, with two points) "[lion passant]" (in a shield surround)"[male bust]" (George III facing to the right, in an oval surround) "RUNDELL BRIDGE ET RUNDELL AURIFICES REGIS ET PRINCIPIS WALLIAE (conjoined) REGENTIS BRITANNIAS"

Stamped on one side of .B, hole has been punched removing part of maker's mark: "P . S" (in a conjoined circle surround, with two points) "[lion passant]" (in a shield surround) "[lion head crowned]" (in a shield surround) "b" (in a shield surround) "[male bust]" (George III facing to the right, in an oval surround "RUNDELL BRIDGE ET RUNDELL AURIFICES REGIS ET PRINCIPIS WALLIAE (conjoined) REGENTIS BRITANNIAS"

Within the cast decoration of the armorial on the front of each plaque (.D-.G): "HON I SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" (around the central medallion) "SUSCIPERE ET FINIRE" (at the bottom within banners)

Stamped on each hinge on the underside: "P S" (in a conjoined circle surround, with two points) "[lion passant]" (in a shield surround) and each stamped with a unique number ranging from 1 to 22 (.A: 8-14; .B: 15-22; .C: 1-7)

The number stamped on each hinge is stamped again on the underside, inside the rim, just above the hinge, for hinges 8 through 22. The hinges on .C (marked 1-7) do not have the number repeated on the inside of the rim.

Stamped in the wood on the underside near hinge 10 (.A): "10"

Stamped in the wood on the underside near hinge 22 (.B): "22"

Stamped in the wood on the underside near hinge 3 (.C): "3"

Each segment (.A-.C) is stamped on the exterior to indicate where the four plaques connect to the four junctures of the three segments (these stamps are hidden when the plaques are in place). Stamped on the exterior of .A: "4" "1", Stamped on the exterior of .B: "1" "2" "3" "4", Stamped on the exterior of .C: "2" "3"

Stamped on the reverse of .D: "1"
