Object Type
In Concreção 5730,
Sacilotto folds two portions of the aluminum square, creating a self-supporting
structure and replacing the plane’s virtual movement with real movement.
Created from a solid square, Concreção
5942 uses symmetry and inversion to create four large squares seemingly
inscribed with smaller squares. Similarly, Weissmann’s Ponte is composed of horizontal and vertical arrangements of
squares with half-circles drilled through them, resulting in a light structure
that offers multiple perspectives.
