[2] The 1998 Lacombe catalogue raisonné by Joëlle Ansieau (cat. no. 18, p. 135) indicates prior ownership by Maurice Hepp (1869-1951), a surgeon whose family was friends of Georges Lacombe. No known current records substantiate this information.
