Inscriptions, Signatures and Marks
This object has a white rectangular label with a barcode on the underside of the base. Under the barcode reads: “BLF.KIA.004.” Based on seeing this type of label on another object from Phoenix Ancient Art, it appears to be their inventory number and labeling system. An additional mark on the object is actually incised sgraffito, added after firing: a Roman numeral X with top and base bars included.
