DescriptionIn his series, The Text Book, Suk Kuhn Oh explores the power of childhood memories.  Playing off the storybook characters Chul-Soo and Young-Hee-the Korean equivalents of "Dick and Jane" or "Jack and Jill"-Oh turns his friends into life-sized puppets who wear masks of Chul-Soo and Young-Hee.  He then asks them to reenact painful, embarrassing, or bizarre childhood memories, with the hope that these photographs will rob the memory of its emotional power over the present.
