Description

Gurvich mezcla principios estructurales de la cuadrícula con
formas indígenas para montar una configuración extraña e híbrida que revela su
interés por el constructivismo y el realism fantástico. Mientras la pintura
integra símbolos clave del universalismo constructivo (caracol, flor y formas
geométricas básicas), la cuadrícula ortogonal empieza a desintegrarse cuando
los pictogramas se disuelven o retuercen unos a otros. La obra parece un
monstruo caprichoso del que pulsa una fuerza vital animista.
