In
1980, Bill Brandt: Nudes 1945–1980
was published. It included the nudes from Perspective
of Nudes (1961) as well his most recent series which focused on the
juxtaposition of bodies and objects. There are four photographs in the museum’s
collection from this last series. The one shown here is the only one in which
the objects are prominent, actually more prominent than the nude.
