DescriptionDuring the second half of the nineteenth century, American silver manufacturers made many highly specific serving utensils as the range of available foods grew and etiquette became more elaborate. Knives for spaghetti or macaroni typically featured broad, extravagantly serrated blades to hold and transfer the noodles.
