This table, somewhat smaller than B.59.71, is also made of walnut. The paired vase leg turnings seen on the Boston table are here supplanted with crisply turned small vases surmounted by tall ring-necked vase forms. That same motif is repeated in the gates. This use of tall vase shapes is seen in examples made in Pennsylvania, as well as adjacent Maryland and nearby Virginia.
Technical notes: Black walnut; southern yellow pine (medial brace, drawer sides, bottom, and back). The drawer construction is dovetailed, the deeply beveled bottom let into the sides, back, and front.
