The title of Alejandro González’s series Conducta impropia is an intentional reference to the 1984 documentary of the same name by Cuban exiles Néstor Almendros and Orlando Jiménez Leal detailing the Castro government’s oppression of Cuba’s gay population.

 

El título de la serie de Alejandro González, Conducta impropia, es una referencia intencionada al documental de 1984 del mismo nombre, realizado por los exiliados cubanos Néstor Almendros y Orlando Jiménez Leal, que detalla la represión del gobierno de Castro contra la población gay de Cuba.
