A month after beginning his series Improper Behavior with close-up portraits, Alejandro González continued the project by photographing jubilant young people at a gay pride party at Mi Cayito, a popular gay beach east of Havana that little more than a decade earlier had been subject to police raids, arrests, fines, and threats of imprisonment.
