de seis obras de Arden Quin que ilustran su concepto pionero de “pintura autónoma”,
libre de representación ilusionista y del marco pictórico tradicional. Pese a
ser absolutamente abstracta, el círculo de yute en la parte superior derecha y
los triángulos en la inferior izquierda sugieren, antropomórficamente, un ojo
de máscara, “diente” y “garras” que dialogan con Forma anímica entrecruzada de Torres García. Arden Quin lo conoció
en 1938, inspirándose en la filosofía estética del maestro del universalismo
constructivo
