BiographyAndrey Nikolaevich Teleshev (1899, Moscow, Russian Empire – 1966, Moscow, USSR). Art historian, photographer-artist (amateur). Son of prominent Russian realism writer Nikolay Teleshev, had a brilliant human education. In 1920s studied in Moscow State University, started to visit meetings of photographers-artists (members of the Russian Photographic Society in Moscow and the Photographic Section of the State Academy of Artistic Science [GAKH] and was part of the Russian Art of Movement. His works were published in catalogues of the Art of Movement exhibitions in 1927 and 1928 and were mentioned by art critiques. After WWII worked as an art photographer with book publishing houses in Moscow, later was co-founder of the memorial studio-museum of his father. [Irina Chmyreva, January 2023]
