Biography
Omar Khayyám, (born 1048 AD, Neyshapur, Persia—1131 AD, Neyshapur, Iran), was a Persian polymath, mathematician, philosopher, astronomer, physician, and poet. He also wrote treatises on mechanics, geography, and music.
