Art: The artist is known for his remarkable work in porcelain and lively parades of figures in black against white. These bodies in space work dynamically with his vessel forms. Now he is working on figures composed from thrown parts and on abstract sculptures assembled from vessel parts. Many influences can be found in his work from the black and white Mimbres pottery to painting and decoration on early Greek vases.
