BiographyDedham Pottery was produced by the Robertson family in Dedham, Massachusetts between 1896 and 1943. (they also made a similar product in Chelsea, MA between 1891 and 1895 called Chelsea Pottery U.S.) The pottery is best-known for its crackleware designs—dishes with a crackled gray glaze and blue decorations, including border designs of animals, flowers, or other natural motifs. The mark was used from 1895-1932 by the Dedham Pottery (1895-1943).
