TrygVe Skorge was born in Gothemborg, Sweden, to a German mother and a Norwegian father. He spent his early childhood in Sweden and has since lived in Cape Town, Tanzania, Namibia and Germany but the call of Africa has always sounded loudly in his heart and he has returned time and time again to her bountiful beauty and vastly different landscapes.

The beauty of people and their surroundings fascinates TrygVe. The mixed cultural roots of African people have inspired and captivated him since he first came from Germany to South Africa as a teenager in 1975.
