BiographyBorn in Texas, Fridge studied under Vernon Fisher at the University of North Texas at Denton, where he received a B.F.A. in 1994. In 1995 Dallas audiences were introduced to Fridge's work in group shows at Exposition Gallery and McKinney Avenue Contemporary. That same year he was also featured in solo exhibitions in Denton at the Good/Bad Art Collective and at the Cora Stafford Gallery and the Union Gallery at UNT. In 1997 he was included in the †Video Flash† exhibition at Hohenthal und Bergen Gallery in Cologne, Germany, and †Fort Worth Hot Shots† at ArtPace in San Antonio. In 1999 Conduit Gallery Annex in Dallas featured Fridge in a solo exhibition titled †Toy Models of Space†.
