BiographyIn Sweden, Stig Lindberg was one of the leading designers of ceramics and hand-painted textiles during this period. Lindberg studied with Wilhelm Kage, the seminal Swedish ceramist, and began work under him at Gustavberg in 1937. By 1947, he was the factory's artistic director.
