Mary Anne Master Thynne, Baroness Carteret of Hawnes

Mary Anne Master was born circa 1778.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Master and Mary Dutton.1 She married John Thynne 3rd Baron Carteret of Hawnes, son of Sir Thomas Thynne, 1st Marquess of Bath and Lady Elizabeth Cavendish-Bentinck, on 18 June 1801 in St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1 She died on 22 February 1863 in 13 Chesterfield Street, Mayfair, London, England.1 Her will was probated on 25 March 1863, at under £9,000.1
From 18 June 1801, her married name became Thynne.1 As a result of her marriage, Mary Anne Master was styled as Baroness Carteret of Hawnes on 19 February 1838. She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber, to HRH the Princess Sophia.1
