DescriptionWithout knowing otherwise, one could see midnight, mid-Atlantic… as a photograph
of star clusters glowing in outer space; in truth, Duncan Ganley took this
photograph from his airplane window while traveling from the United States to
Iceland. Ganley employs digital-imaging software to manipulate the photograph,
increasing the horizontal vista to create the illusion of an almost limitless
horizon encompassing both sun and moon.
