DescriptionA Staffordshire cup and saucer, while seemingly modest, is recorded as being salvaged from the Georgiana, which was sunk off the Charleston, South Carolina, harbor in March 1863. The brig-rigged, iron-hulled, propeller steamer belonged to the Confederate States Navy during the American Civil War.
