photographer Will van Overbeek decided to go back to a high-school prom. In
2005, he photographed a variety of proms at both public and private schools for
the Austin Chronicle. These images
illustrate both the youthful fashion choices of the moment and the commonalties
between the schools, such as the groups of girls dancing together.
