Willys de
Castro impugna la bidimensionalidad pictórica con sus objetos activos. Al reducer el lienzo a una tira estrecha colgada
perpendicularmente en la pared, destaca la materialidad del soporte, subrayando
su grosor no siempre considerado. Simplificada en dos pequeños cuadrados, la
composición circunda un lado del soporte. Al desplazarse el observador-activo
en torno a la obra, la superficie blanca se funde con la pared haciendo que el
cuadrado azul parezca flotar en el espacio.
