There is an engraved crest on the lid depicting an animal above the torso of a suit of armor. A bannor above reads: "Jamais Atriere"
Stamped on side of lid and dish: Lion passant looking left / Smiling leopard with no crown in a shield / "K" in shield with nipped corners and cleft below / Monarch looking right / "IH" in rectangle

Stamped on the edge of the lid and on inside ridge of dish: "4"
Scratched on the underside of the dish: "11843"
