Description

Fashion photography is not confined to high-end studios
and glossy magazines. Many photographers have been attracted to the fashionable
people they encounter on the streets. Henri Cartier-Bresson who advocated for a
“single picture [that] is a whole story in itself,” captured the comical
struggle of two beautifully dressed women trying to keep their fashions
in place amid the windy weather on Easter Sunday in 1947.
