DescriptionThis coffee- or chocolate pot is made of lead-glazed red earthenware. The potter formed the molded decorations, which include floral, bird, and animal motifs, as well as the British royal coat of arms separately and applied them to the body of the pot.
Provenance[David Stockwell (1907–1996), Wilmington, Delaware]; purchased by Miss Ima Hogg, November 9, 1961; given to MFAH, by 1966.
