Description

Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, a third-generation Texan known
as the Queen of Tejano Music,

was only beginning her rise to stardom when she was
tragically murdered at the age of 23. Her final concert at the Houston
Astrodome in 1995 broke all previous attendance records. Today, her songs remain
popular with fans and musicians, and her signature style—including sparkling
bustiers, studded hats and jackets, and high-waisted pants—are iconic of her
legacy.
