DescriptionThe Boston partnership of Jonathan Stodder and Benjamin Frobisher lasted from 1816 to 1825. After that, Stodder relocated to New York, and Frobisher continued working in Boston. This rectangular tray with a stepped, gadrooned rim is a restrained expression of the late neoclassical style.
