Inscriptions, Signatures and Marks
Inscription: Carved hieroglyphic inscription (translation):
"A royal offering to Isis, the mother of the god, lady of the sky, mistress of the gods. May she give life, happiness, health, efficiency, favor, and love and may she live to be on earth in her temple with a sanctuary, satisfied with the food which her Ka [divine essence] gives, and may she give the sweet breeze of the north wind and a good old age.." There the text breaks off - what followed was probably not more than the words "to the ... (title)...Amon".
