DescriptionThis pitcher employs a barrel-shaped body similar to that found on two tumblers by the same firm, B.91.36.1, .2, which were presented to naval hero Oliver Perry in 1814. The pitcher is a reserved but sophisticated expression of early 19th-century neoclassical style.
