Description

Nic Nicosia’s “Moving Picturetakes an eerily melancholy tour through a colonial-style suburban home with glimpses of its quintessentially white, middle-class inhabitants. Although described by Nicosia as “just a slice of life in suburban Dallas,” the film critiques both the American Dream and the tropes of cinema.

ProvenancePurchased by MFAH, 1999.
