Inscriptions, Signatures and Marks
Inscription: The vase is signed in the glaze, underside: "JM (within a leaf design) / Holland / Utrecht / 14192 / G". There is a label pasted to the interior of the vase: "Holland Utrecht / Ceramics factory founded at Utrecht / in 1856. Re-organized by J.W. Mijnlieff (1896) / Manufactured utensils, tableware, tiles etc. 1904-06 / from designs by H. Berlage (architect & / furniture designed 1856-1934) and J.P. van den / Bosch, commissioned by 't Binnenhuis".
The vase is signed in the clay, underside: "Mounl (?) 220".
