abandoned house on Zuma Beach was used by teenagers looking to make mischief,
the local fire department for conducting drills, and as John Divola’s
constantly evolving studio. The photographer documented the gradual destruction
of the house through graffiti and fire against the eternal backdrop of the
ocean.
