Inscription: The drawing is inscribed, verso, lower edge: "S Fit-7336 110 cm x 80 cm".
The frame had two tracking labels from Sotheby's on the verso of the frame. (one now in Registrar's files)
There was a Sotheby's Exhibition Preparation note taped to the back of the frame (now in Registrar's files) noting signature and inscriptions onf the verso of the page.
There was a label on the verso of the frame: "Institute of Contemporary Art / 955 Boylston Street / Boston, Massachusetts 02115 / 617 266-5152 / 33.Sam Francis / Untitled, 1973 / gouache, 43 x 31 1/8 / collection of the artist / (SFT-7336)" (destroyed with old frame).
There were two auction house stickers on the verso of the frame (now in Registrar's files): "Sotheby's New York / 109" and "Christie's NY Cont / 301".
