DescriptionThis mug features a transfer-decorated scene of elaborate and fanciful buildings consistent with the romantic aesthetic of mid-nineteenth-century Staffordshire potteries. The pattern is similar to one called “Singanese,” which was made by Wedgwood and other manufacturers. This mug bears on its underside the stamp of Baltimore importer William F. Bokee.
