ProvenanceEx-collection: Commissioned from the artist by Doris and Charles Saatchi, as an installation for the dining room in their home in London, England. Commission was completed in 1981.

Ex-collection: Acquired back by the artist upon the sale of the Saatchi's home in London, 1997-1998.

Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Max and Isabell Herzstein, Houston, Texas, purchased from the artist through the Devin Borden/Hiram Butler Gallery in 1998, and placed. Indefinite loan the museum as a promised gift.
