DescriptionThis looking glass is probably English; Miss Hogg purchased it in 1925 from Israel Sack.  A recent conservation treatment has made it possible to display the looking glass as a complement to the dressing table below it (B.2023.11).
Provenance[Israel Sack, Boston]; purchased by Miss Ima Hogg, October 8, 1925; Estate of Miss Ima Hogg, 1975; given to MFAH, 1976.
