Technical notes and description: Cotton and wool warp and weft double-weave cloth. This two-panel coverlet in navy and white is composed of sixteen sunburst medallions framed by floral wreaths in a spotted ground. The exterior border is formed from alternating floral baskets and foliate lyres.
