adherents of video and computer imaging, the artistic duo MANUAL has charted
decades of brave experiments in media. In their composite computer-aided work,
the combination of text and stock photography with portraits of Houston gallery
owner Betty Moody and her then-assistant Lisa Barkley creates ambiguous
relationships that leave room for viewers to construct their own story.
