DescriptionMaking tea at the tea table required a ready supply of hot water. With a burner built into the stand to keep the water hot, this kettle filled that need and did so while keeping the water very close at hand.
Provenance[The Morris House, Stamford, Connecticut]; purchased by Miss Ima Hogg, 1959; given to MFAH, by 1966.
