Provenance[Christie’s, London, July 30, 1924, no. 226, as "A Game of Cards," purchased by Lambert]; Colonel Bradley, Palm Beach, Florida, in whose casino the picture is said to have hung in the 1930s and 1940s; [P. & D. Colnaghi & Co., London]; purchased by the Sarah Campbell Blaffer Foundation, 1985.
