Inscription: The following inscriptions were made with black marker at the upper right of the backing of each of the five individually framed silk panels. First panel, (91.1330.A), "Requiem in 5 parts/ Part I 1989/ ..../ Mazur". Second panel, (91.1330.B), "Requiem in 5 parts/ Part II/ Monotype 1989/ Mazur/ ....". Third panel, (91.1330.C), "Requiem in 5 parts/ Part III/ Monotype/ ..../ Mazur". Fourth panel, (91.1330.D), "Requiem in 5 parts/ Part IV/ Monotype/ ..../ Mazur". Fifth panel, (91.1330.E), "Requiem in 5 parts/ Part V/ .... 1985/ Mazur". In each inscription the "...." indicates that a schematic was drawn to indicate where each panel should be hung.
